8th Annual Extreme Flight Championships — June 12th, 13th and 14th.
I went to the
8th Annual Extreme Flight Championships today.

It was a 2 hour drive one way but worth it. boy can those guys fly!!! They put on a great show.
One of the Helicopter crashed on the runway. it totaled the Heli and a piece of it hit a spectator about 150 ft away. It cut his head and they said it was not bad but they took him away in an ambulance..

These are near my Sisters house in Indiana. They are putting up the first phase of 120 windmills. In the second phase they will be asking my sister if they can put some on her land. We watched as the lifted the blades (each of the three blades are110 feet long) up to the top of the tower which is 210 feet high. It moved slowly up in a pretty good wind but they did not seam to have problem with it.

Grider hill dock on lake Cumberland KY
This is one of out stops back 39 years ago on our honeymoon. The lake is 40 foot down. They are working on the dam. It is leaking.
The lake is no longer as clean as it was. Nothing like it was 39 years ago.
While we were there we visited near by Dale hollow lake. It looks much cleaner and a much better place to camp. So if we go back we will go Dale Hollow lake.
