Electric Flight Expo

This is a picture of my latest invention. It is RC controlled spinning box kite.

I flew it at the Electric Flight Expo which is advertised as the world largest indoor fly-in and expo. The Expo is held in the Cardinals Dome Stadium.

My box kit sure was a big hit. There is nothing else like it. Lots of people wanted to know how to build it and a couple of them offered to buy it.

The first Saturday of every month the Coolidge airport has a pancake breakfast and fly-in. Dale, Bob and I went there. There were 6 old world war planes there. A spitfire, two mustangs, a t6 trainer. A Chinese plane which I forgot what it was called. It is nice because you can still just walk any where on the field you want. All you have to do is watch out for spinning props.

51st Annual Tubac Festival of the Arts

We had a good time there. The weather was not good. It was cold and rainy. We are from Seattle so we are use to just going ahead and enjoying ourselves even if it is raining.

Jerry Bryes RC Helicopter caught fire

Jerry RC Helicopter caught fire before if left the ground. He thinks the speed control caught fire first and it set under the battery. Once those LiPo batteries start to burn you can not stop them. I have a Helicopter just like it except for the burnt part. We bought the same kind so we could share parts and knowledge. I think I will move my speed controller.
